FAQ

Everything clients ask us, answered.

Pricing, timelines, ownership, reporting, international engagements, and how the work actually runs day to day.

How much does custom software cost?

It depends almost entirely on scope, which is the one thing under your control. A focused internal tool is typically four to eight weeks of work. A CRM or operations system with several roles and reporting runs three to five months. We quote a defined first version rather than an open-ended engagement.

Should we build custom software or buy something off the shelf?

Buy, in most cases. If an existing product covers eighty percent of your needs at a fraction of the cost, take it and adapt your process. Custom is justified when your process is genuinely unusual, when per-user fees have grown beyond the cost of ownership, or when the system is the business itself.

What will you refuse to build?

Assistants that pretend to be human when asked directly, automated reviews or engagement of any kind, bulk AI content published without editing, systems that store personal data without a lawful basis, and automated decisions that materially affect someone and cannot be explained.

Is this affordable for a small business?

The useful automations are often the cheapest. A well-configured enquiry response flow costs far less than a month of advertising and frequently improves conversion more. We start small deliberately so the first project pays for the next one.

What if the AI gives a customer wrong information?

This is why scope and testing matter. Assistants are limited to what they actually know, escalate anything outside it, and are reviewed monthly against real conversation logs. We also keep a manual fallback in place during the first weeks so nothing depends solely on the automation.

How long does an automation project take?

A first workflow is typically four to six weeks including mapping, building, testing, and training. We deliberately start with one thing that works rather than an ambitious plan that stalls halfway.

What is lead scoring and do I need it?

It ranks enquiries so your team spends its best time on the ones most likely to close, using signals you already have such as service requested, market, budget indication, and what they wrote. Worth doing once your enquiry volume is high enough that treating them all equally is costing you.

Can AI write our blog posts and social content?

For first drafts and variations, yes. For final published copy, not without a human rewriting it against real knowledge. Anything published under your name should contain something only your business could have said. If a competitor could publish the same paragraph unchanged, it should not go out.
