FAQ

Everything clients ask us, answered.

Pricing, timelines, ownership, reporting, international engagements, and how the work actually runs day to day.

What is the fastest way to increase online sales?

Usually fixing the product page and checkout rather than buying more traffic. If one in a hundred visitors buys, doubling traffic doubles cost. Improving that rate to two in a hundred doubles revenue for nothing.

How important is product photography?

It is the single largest factor in online purchase decisions, because it is the only substitute for handling the product. Multiple angles, scale reference, and honest representation reduce both hesitation and returns.

Why is my cart abandonment so high?

Almost always unexpected costs at the final step, forced account creation, limited payment options, or slow loading. Shipping cost revealed only at checkout is the most common single cause.

Should I sell on marketplaces or my own store?

Marketplaces bring volume and take margin, visibility, and the customer relationship. Your own store costs more to attract traffic but keeps all three. Most brands use marketplaces for discovery and work to move repeat buyers direct.

What is retargeting and does it work for retail?

Showing ads to people who viewed a product but did not buy. It is typically the cheapest conversions in a retail account. Cap the frequency, though, because following someone around the internet for three weeks stops being persuasive.

How do we get repeat purchases?

Email and messaging to people who already bought, timed to when they would realistically need to reorder. Acquiring a new customer costs several times more than bringing back an existing one, and most stores neglect the cheaper option entirely.

Do product descriptions matter for SEO?

Yes, and manufacturer-supplied text is the most common mistake because hundreds of sites carry the identical wording. Original descriptions answering real buyer questions are what rank.

How do we plan for festival season?

Start six to eight weeks ahead. Creative ready, stock confirmed, site load tested, and campaigns warmed up before the peak. Launching a festival campaign in the same week means paying peak rates to a cold audience.

Should we discount to drive sales?

Sparingly and with a reason. Constant discounting trains customers to wait and permanently resets what they believe your product is worth. Bundling, free shipping thresholds, and time-limited offers preserve price integrity better.
