FAQ

Everything clients ask us, answered.

Pricing, timelines, ownership, reporting, international engagements, and how the work actually runs day to day.

How long does a website take to build?

A focused business website is typically four to eight weeks. Larger sites with many service pages, custom functionality, or e-commerce run longer. The most common delay is content and feedback from the client side rather than development.

Will I be able to update the site myself?

Yes. We build on WordPress with a clear structure, so text, images, blogs, and service details can be edited from the admin panel. You get a walkthrough plus written notes for whoever inherits it later.

Do you handle hosting and domain?

We help you choose and configure them, connect the domain, set up SSL, and migrate any existing site. Everything stays registered in your name, so you are never dependent on us to keep the site online.

Do I need a redesign or just improvements?

Often just improvements. If the structure is sound and the platform is healthy, fixing speed, rewriting the core pages, and adding proper service pages delivers most of the benefit at a fraction of the cost. We assess honestly rather than defaulting to the bigger project.

How many pages should my website have?

One page for each distinct thing you sell, plus home, about, proof, blog, and contact. Nine services means nine service pages. Cramming everything onto one long page reads as vague to visitors and gives search engines nothing specific to rank.

Why does website speed matter?

It is a conversion issue before it is a ranking issue. On a mobile connection, the difference between two seconds and six is the difference between an enquiry and a bounce. We measure before and after and share the numbers.

Do you build e-commerce websites?

Yes, on WooCommerce or Shopify depending on your requirements. The build is the easier half; product data, photography, shipping logic, and payment setup usually take longer than the site itself, so we plan those from the start.

What ongoing maintenance does a website need?

Platform and plugin updates, backups, security monitoring, and periodic content updates. This is real and continuing. A WordPress site left untouched for a year becomes a security risk, so we offer a care plan or hand over instructions if you prefer to manage it internally.

Will the site work properly on phones?

It is designed mobile first, because that is where most of your traffic is, and tested on real devices including older cheaper handsets rather than only on a recent flagship in a simulator.
